The 1st Session of 11 weeks training started tonight for Bluelight Boxing Fight Night in aid of Alfie Bear's Journey Fund.

This year there are some new faces, preparing to battle it out in the ring on Saturday 7th October at The Deco, Northampton.

Myself and Danny, and our fellow picnic organiser Val would like to say thank you to everyone who came and supported Alfie Bear's Picnic this year.

The day started off with plenty of sunshine and a beautiful unveiling of our Alfie's memorial bench, with a few words from both the Mayor and Cllr. Brian Oldham.

During Alfie Bear's Picnic, the Mayor, Cllr. Gareth Eales unvailed Alfie's memorial bench which is overlooking Hunsbury Park playarea.

The beautiful bench was kindly donated by the lovely Cllr. Brian Oldham.

A big thank you to Martin Waller from Northampton Police who kindly auctioned off one of his rare Warhammer collectables and raised a fantastic £320 for Alfie Bear's Journey Fund.
