Alfie Bear's Picnic 2017
Alfie Bear's Picnic is returning for its third year at West Hunsbury Country Park on Saturday 22nd July. 11am - 5pm in aid of Alfie Bear's Journey Fund (The Brain Tumour Charity).
The picnic is a fun day for the whole family, and a chance for us to raise awareness of Paediatric Brain Tumours while bringing the community together.
Activities include a BBQ, Music, Dance Act, character Parade, Mega Slide, Assault Course, Bouncy Castle, Police Display, Old Fashioned Fete Games, Craft Stalls, Raffle & Tombola, Cake Stall, refreshments, Candy Floss. Ice-cream, Coconut Shy, Stocks, Face Painting and lots more!
Come along and meet our Super Bear as well as the popular Hunsbury Bear. NIRT will also be running train rides on the day.
Friends of West Hunsbury Parks will be joining us and the West Hunsbury WI will also be there with their yummy cakes!
Children will enjoy the Police display from Northants Police and having their photo taken with Chase and Skye and Princess Belle from Just Party.
The picnic area is a great place for parents to relax with a burger from the BBQ, while the children have their free picnic boxes that have been kindly donated by Val and Annie.
Special guests include our very own Lord Mayor & Mayoress, Cllr. Gareth and Terrie Eales. There is also a special memorial opening for our Alfie, courtesy of Cllr. Brian Oldham and Northampton Borough Council.
You don't want to miss it!
If you are interested in helping us on the day or would like to bake a cake or perhaps donate a raffle or tombola prize, please contact Zoe or Val at: email@example.com
Special thank you to Greggs The Bakers and The Police Mutual Local Community Fund for their generous donations to the Picnic.
